Things I worked out and wrote down, mostly so I would not have to work them out twice.

• 2026-07-03 Running my own mail server
  Postfix, Dovecot and DKIM from scratch, to see how email fits together. Mostly a story about commands that did nothing and said nothing.
• 2026-06-12 Rules or machinery
  What to tell Claude, what to leave to it, and what to take out of its hands altogether.
• 2026-06-09 Parallel agents and git worktrees
  Two Claude sessions in one working directory will eventually commit each other's files. Worktrees stop that.
• 2026-05-27 What an agentic harness is
  The model only turns text into more text. Everything that lets it do things is the harness.
• 2026-03-03 WebP with a GIF fallback in email
  The picture element works in email too. Clients that can show WebP get it, the rest get the GIF.
